New Radiohead album the 10th of October!
Monday, October 1st, 2007Struggling myself through this dull and quite uninspiring day these news really found a new place for me to rest my mind (a nicer place that is). Radiohead will be coming out with a new album on the 10th of October. The title of the album is “In Rainbows”. The cool thing about this is the business model they are using for this release.
- First of all they are releasing this with only ten days notice
- Second, they have announced two types of media on which this album is being released; as digital download and as a discbox (which includes artwork and a second disc, where the digital download only includes one)
- The cost of the digital download is optional (you decide the price!)
- The price of the discbox is £40

Sunday, September 30th, 2007So I found this site that creates a cloud of recommended music artists based on what I’ve “scrobbled” in Last.fm. I’m already listening to some of the artists recommended, but I might give some of them a try. I’ve read about Broken Social Scene and Bloc Party, but somehow I do not quite know how to get started listening to them. Maybe I should just give it a go!
